Listing photos are one of the most important parts of selling your home. They’re your first showing, before anyone even steps through the door.
And the truth is… small details can make a big difference.
Before every photoshoot, I walk my sellers through a few key things to make sure their home shows its absolute best 👇
1. Less is More (Yes, Really)
I know… this one is tough.
But when it comes to photos, less stuff = more space. Buyers aren’t just looking at your home—they’re imagining themselves in it.
Think:
- Clear off countertops
- Minimize decor (leave a few intentional pieces)
- Tuck away everyday items
If you’re questioning whether to leave something out… it’s probably a no 😉
2. Light is Everything
We want your home to feel bright, open, and inviting.
Before photos:
- Open all blinds and curtains
- Turn on every light (yes, even lamps!)
- Replace any burnt-out bulbs
Pro tip: consistent light temperature (all warm or all cool) makes a space feel way more polished.
3. The “Lifestyle” Matters More Than You Think
