Let's be real. You probably know a lot of real estate agents.
Your friend, your cousin, your neighbor (on both sides!), plus the agent your coworker used she can't stop raving about.
You have to choose an agent, but it's so hard!
So who do you choose?
A quick Google search will give you a list of questions to ask an agent, but I think the best decisions are made when you ask YOURSELF the right questions.
1. What do their past clients say?
Look for some reviews or ask past clients of theirs, if you know them.
2. Can I get to know them online first?
What are they really like to work with? Check out their social media to see behind the scenes.
3. Do they work in my area?
Look at their local content on their social media...is your desired area nearby or featured?
4. Who do you feel the most comfortable reaching out to and confident you'll have a positive experience with?
Their experience matters, but so does your institution! When I've been interviewed, I can usually tell a client has a gut feeling about which agent they want to go with...and I encourage them to follow that intuition, even if it's not me!
