2️⃣ DO YOUR RESEARCH
It's time to buckle up and hit the road!
Looking at houses online is great, but nothing compares to driving around town and seeing neighborhoods face to face.
This is where you discover things like, as much as you love that neighborhood, you didn't realize the highway was so close! Or the houses are great but built a lot closer together than you had hoped.
Researching neighborhoods in your area will help you rule out areas that won't work and become laser focused on the ones that will!
3️⃣ TALK TO YOUR LENDER
It's time to talk with a local lender. This is not nearly as stressful or intimidating as it sounds!
The point is to get a good overview of your finances and debt to income ratio. Your lender will tell you what you're preapproved for and may be able to give you tips on how to improve your credit score before you put in an offer!
With these first steps in place, you’ll be well on your way to finding a place that feels just right.
