Post Moving Must Do's

You got the keys! Here's what to do next!â

â

ðŸ—ï¸ Change your address with USPS onlineâ

â ðŸ—ï¸ Change your address with DMV (or your local car/driver â registration) *This can also be done online - yay!â

â ðŸ—ï¸ Change all billing addresses on all your banking websitesâ

â ðŸ—ï¸ Change your address at work/with your direct depositâ

â ðŸ—ï¸ Register any new appliance warranties or confirm any warranties transfered during purchase.â

â ðŸ—ï¸ Do a walkthrough of your house before unpacking and make a note of any changes you want to make (by room). Furniture you need, paint, anything you want to replace.â

â ðŸ—ï¸ Send out your new address to family & friendsâ

â ðŸ—ï¸ Order new return address labels/stampsâ

â ðŸ—ï¸ Change the locks - if you have a home warranty check to see if they pay for this to save some $$â

â ðŸ—ï¸ Host a housewarming - And make sure my invite doesn't get lost in the mail :) â

â Don't forget to save this post for your next home buying adventure!â
