This one goes out to all the Denver locals who are experiencing some kind of buyer's remorse right now.
Maybe you wish you would have bought a house when the rates were lower. Maybe you wish you would have bought in a different neighborhood or bought in a different season of life.
And you scroll Instagram or sit at dinner with friends and hear everyone else talk about how they'll "never sell their 2.8% rate home" or that they "couldn't imagine trying to buy now" and you're sitting there panicking, like, did you make the wrong choice?
I'm a positive but no-fluff kind of agent, so I'm gonna be real with you for a minute.
It's kind of hard to make a "bad choice" in real estate.
Because EVEN IF the rates are higher now, you are still building long term wealth.
EVEN IF it's not a place you want to be in forever, it's still most likely gaining in value over time.
EVEN IF there would have been a more ideal time, home, or location, you STILL OWN A HOME.
A home you get to make your own! The paint colors, the finishes, the way each room is used...it's totally up to you!
So next time you overhear those (annoying) conversations or see IG posts that make you feel like anything less than the incredible homeowner you are, remember that you're in it for the long haul. You're building LONG TERM WEALTH and no one can take that away from you!
